On August 6, 2025, the Los Angeles County Waterworks District No. 29 and the State Water Resources Control Board issued a boil water notice for segments of Malibu. Specifically, customers west of Corral Canyon Road and Solstice Canyon Road—excluding those in Trancas Canyon and Latigo Canyon—are urged to use only boiled or bottled water for drinking, cooking, teeth brushing, and pet or livestock use.
